Last Saturday Wladimir Klitschko, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion attended big boxing tournament billed «The Champ Comes Home» which was held in Grozny, Russian Federation. «K2 East Promotions» promotional company was one of head organizers of the fight card. The heavyweight champion said that from now on «K2 East Promotions» will organize boxing tournaments in Grozny on regular basis.

«I would like to thank Ramzan Kadyrov, president of the Chechen Republic for his invitation to attend this great sport event. Sport develops perfect qualities in a man and is a good example to follow for youth. That boxing fest was not the first and, of course, not the last in the Chechen Republic. There will be much more in future. We together with my brother Vitali will do everything possible in order that such boxing tournaments will be organized in the Chechen Republic more often. The most important thing is that young boys should look at boxing as an excellent example to follow and that they develop in themselves best qualities of manly character – of real warriors».

Last Saturday August 15th Zaurbek Baysangurov (22-1, 16 KOs) completely outboxed and outpunched Eromosele Albert (22-3-1, 10 KOs) from Nigeria during 12 rounds of a lopsided battle and retained his WBA Inter-Continental light middleweight belt. Title clash was the main event of a big boxing tournament billed «The Champ Comes Home».
